THE BUYING PROCESS...
Step 1 is for us to sit down together and discuss your options. We'll set up an appointment to meet each other and to find out what it is you're looking for in a home.
Step 2 is evaluating your purchasing capacity and determining the right kind of financing for you. The reason I do this before we look at homes is that I can save you time, and eliminate properties that don't fit your purchasing criteria. In addition, by going through this pre-qualifying step, you'll be in a better negotiating position when the time comes.
Step 3 we'll actually go look at homes which we've selected together. This process should be fun, like the ultimate shopping trip, and if possible should include your whole family.
Step 4 once we've found THE home, I'll negotiate the purchase with the seller's agent on your behalf until we have reached an agreement.
Step 5 is to facilitate the release of all conditions in the time specified on the contract. eg. property inspection, finance conditions, etc.
Step 6 (the best in my opinion) is to then transfer ownership of the home to you, and time for you to move in!
There are many details involved in getting the sale closed, and it requires a great deal of communication with a lot of people. My role is to make sure that all these details are handled quickly and professionally on your behalf.
